ABCPro Pilot Evaluation

Project Lead: Nadine Metzger

ABCpro is an innovative digital telehealth nurse service for advanced breast cancer (ABC) patients.

Point conducted a series of interviews to support Breast Cancer Foundation NZ’s pre-post cohort study that will assess the effect of the ABCpro nurse-led electronic symptom management programme on symptom management and quality of life in advanced breast cancer patients.

The primary objective of the study was to examine and evaluate the effectiveness and impact of ABCpro (the ePRO/CDS tool used by a nurse to manage symptoms) on quality of life. The interviews were used to qualitatively assess the satisfaction with and ease of use of ABCpro for study participants.
