The Safe to talk service is for people who have been affected by sexual harm and want information, and/or support. The following are the main user groups of Safe to talk:

  • Those who have been harmed in any way by sexual violence

  • Those who identify concerning and/or harmful sexual thoughts/impulses and wish to seek help

  • Those who have sexually harmed someone else

  • Those who enquire about someone else who has experienced harm

  • Those who are concerned about a person’s harmful sexual behaviours/thoughts

  • Those who have general enquiries.

Safe to Talk are producing a new campaign aimed at youth audiences who have experienced sexual harm. In July and August 2020 Point tested several campaign concepts with a diverse range of youth/rangatahi in Auckland and Northland.
